In May 2018 I finally organised my first architecture photography walk in Sydney, Australia.
I’m really passionate about meeting people, travelling and of course photography. Architecture photography to be more specific.
The aim of the walk was to show to like-minded people both Sydney’s best hidden and iconic photographic hot spots.
We walked together in Ultimo and Chippendale areas exploring some UTS buildings, Central Park Mall, the White Rabbit Gallery, walked through laneways and finally watching the sunset from a rooftop.
What was really important for me was to guide people to find a new angle for photographing buildings, architectural details and structures and boost their creativity by observing the surroundings from a different perspective
In addition I could provide some advice on how to capture a urban scene, buildings and architectural details to people using either a phone, a point-and-shoot camera or dslr.
Here are some words from who joined the photo walk. Lovely meeting you all guys!
Thank you for showing us around and taking us to hidden places. The view from the rooftop was my favorite! It was a wonderful day with wonderful people and a pleasure to meet you.
Thank you Nancy for organizing the walk! It was really interesting and I discovered new and secret buildings and spots that I wasn’t aware of, also I spent an amazing night with great people!
I really liked the walk because I had the chance to see buildings and places from a different point of view and perspective. I also visited the white rabbit gallery that I didn’t know it existed and I met people I share the passion for photography with. Thank you Nancy for organizing it!
